Thank you all for the help, i really didnt expect this many responses to my post. Due to the occasion and I did prefer it, I think the Tiffany has the lead. Even being over priced, it has that special factor.

We have a fantastic one near us. We have been going to him well over 20 years now as we bought my wedding ring there 23 years ago. My husband has commissioned him to make me a few things and he has always been wonderful.

Tiffany for me (not because of the label, although I admit I love Tiffany), but I genuinely prefer it over the Beaverbrooks one.

Tiffany is overpriced. But I think it’s prettier than the beaverbrooks one which I find old fashioned but it depends on the age of the wearer

Tiffany for me. The other one is too fancy. Someone will be very lucky either way.

If it's down to the two, I'd go Tiffany. I get that the Beaverbrooks one is more expensive but if I'm being honest, the diamond infinity actually looks a bit cheap online.
Doesn't look quite right.
Also with regards to the metals (here comes the allergy saddo) - 9ct white gold has a nickel base. The sterling silver is 'purer' if you will. I'd pay more for silver than white gold. But I would break out with contact dermatitis.

I have a Tiffany necklace - yes the box is nice... but that’s really it.
White gold trumps silver every time for me and I love the infinity symbol on the Beaverbrooks...
So I would strongly advise against the Tiffany! It’s a lot to pay for a box and a ribbon.

That said, my preference is platinum and a local jeweller...
