We were at WDW over Christmas 2 years ago. Some days it was 8C and we all needed jackets and coats, and then later on in the week it warmed up and we were so hot and sweaty with 28c! There's definitely a good chance you can do waterparks in December, but just keep in mind the weather is quite unpredictable so you may need to be flexible to swap days around if the weather looks really good for days that you had planned for other things!

have done Christmas twice - first was very, very cold, would not have dreamed to go anywhere near a pool - even our heated villa one.
both times it was ridiculously busy, especially on Christmas eve - it took hours to get out of MK - to be honest I didnt like it at all - so we stick to summer. I've only done easter once, and yes very busy again, but kinder weather! |

We’ve been three times at Christmas and have had various temperatures, it can change quickly. One year we were at Blizzard Beach all day on Boxing Day, other times we needed double fleeces in the evenings. Last year was mixed.

We were there for Christmas in 2015 and had glorious weather. Xmas Day was spent at Typhoon Lagoon and Epcot in the evening, a great day.

We went Crimbo 2019 and loved it, as previously mentioned we also did Disco cove on Crimbo day and it was nice, also did a few water parks and had no issues, as stupid Brits what they consider cold is nowhere near what we would class it.
Some nights I had to put a hoodie on when we went out to eat and on a couple of occasions had to wear long pants but that was it. The parks were magical.

Done Christmas twice and the parks are way too busy to enjoy in my opinion. Temperatures have been anything between chilly and around 30 degrees - sometimes in the same day. Have enjoyed water parks which have been warm enough on the right days.
We’ll definitely do earlier December in the next year or two to enjoy the Christmas feel but without the holiday crowds now we’re not restricted by school/college holidays. |

We've done the last 10 yrs or so in Orlando for Christmas, by far our favourite time, we should be there now 😢 The weather can be quite cold at times but we've also had some scorchers.
