Listening to my son playing guitar loudly in his room. As I’ve previously posted his woes he is extremely anxious and down this weekend so it’s nice to hear whereas it’s usually a bit annoying.

Packed away the Christmas tree and decorations
DS is helping me to put them in the loft on Tuesday evening I had been arranging a nurses reunion at the end of January as it will 40 years ago that we started our nurse training. Now changing it to a Zoom catch up |

Celebrating my 50th birthday.
Binge watched Life on Mars. We were living outside the UK when this was on originally. DH loves crime shows and was hunting for something new. He came across it on Netflix. So that was us. Series 2. Brownies. Steak. Pretty good birthday considering.

Swimming 70 lengths today, we've been swimming regularly since October (apart for COVID isolation and lockdown).
I started at 25 lengths so really pleased at how my stamina is building, I'm slow but can keep going for longer.

It’s been lovely reading all these lovely things people have been doing today, hope it continues. It’s still early today so I don’t know what my highlight will be. I’m off to church in a bit and would love a good sing song (but cant
 ). I’m sure my highlight will be hearing from my son on his day 5 of Covid positive isolation and hope he’s feeling as ok as he’s been feeling the last few days but from what he said last night the fever and lethargy have started to kick in.
