Best "Romantic" Disney Restaurant
I have eaten at a few Disney restaurants, but we want somewhere romantic / special. We are going for our Honeymoon next year and it is also my partners birthday whilst we are out there.
We are doing a split stay and have two nights at AK lodge, so ideally I would like a nice restaurant in this area, but I am happy to go elsewhere. I have considered Victoria and Alberts, but what with paying for a wedding and then a honyemoon I am not sure I can justify the cost

We have picked California Grill for our Anniversary date night in June.
Food looks good, location is stunning and then our plan is to hop the monorail round to the Polynesian to watch the fireworks from the beach and head to trader sams'. |

We loved going to California Grill when we went for our 5th wedding anniversary in 2018. The food was amazing and the view of the fireworks was superb.

We love the Cali Grill - both as a family with the kids and also when we've managed to fob the kids off elsewhere and it's just the two of us.

I like Cali Grill, but personally wouldn’t say it’s the most romantic of restaurants. Lots of kids were in when we visited (including ours). Not the most intimate setting in my view.

I love California Grill too, possibly my favourite, definitely top two. But I cannot say I found it romantic, it is too big, too busy and too family orientated to be romantic. Narcooossee's is probably a bit more, although I am not sure any are particularly romantic. We are doing V&A this year for our last night of what is my birthday holiday.

If I were on honeymoon I would definitely do California Grill brunch.
This is an amazingly relaxed, long, lazy experience with bottomless mimosas (and a cocktail included if you’re on ddp). There’s an all you care to eat buffet with gorgeous food on it, followed by entrees from which you can order more than one, then a dessert plate sharer. The server tells you that they will not even start your entree preparation until about 40 minutes after your order. Plan to spend a good 2 hours in here. Live musicians playing Disney songs (they take requests), freedom to wander out to the terrace and take in the views and you can return if you wish for that evenings fireworks. It’s my must do experience each trip. In terms of an intimate dinner I would look at Narcoossees or Citricos

We found Yachtsman Steakhouse quite romantic, it was very quiet and definitely felt more intimate than California Grill- the food was amazing too. I would highly recommend Victoria and Alberts though, very formal but the atmosphere is lovely as there arent many tables and the Harp is beautiful. We had our actual wedding meal at Jiko and that was also very romantic, they have a seperate room with only a few tables in so you could request a table there

On our disneymoon we went to cali grill. Really not impressed. It was showing off about itself. Our most special meal was at the 3 bridges restaurant at coronado springs, very good service that added discreetly to our evening. Quite the opposite from cali grill.

We loved CG brunch it was one of our best meals but i would rank the dinner as our least favourite- poor service compared to brunch! We have added 3 bridges to our list for next year it looks great
