Mobile Turkey warning
I work within a supermarket. We have just been told that they expect to run out of turkeys by tomorrow lunchtime.

Just giving you guys notice so you don’t end up missing out. Obviously all store stock is different-but just bear it in mind

Dh just got my crown from Sainsburys, we don’t have any potato’s or veg so we could end up with turkey sandwiches

Dh said there was no king Edwards or Maris pipers, no ready prepared parsnips, I told him to leave it. We have turkey, pigs in blankets, stuffing and cauli cheese and I will hunt for the rest later

OH has just nipped to the local shops for what we couldn’t get yesterday. He’s already sent a text saying
‘much more successful’
Definitely shouldn’t have bothered with a large store! It was manic too. I’d say proper pre-Covid Christmas crowds

Fortunately I’ve ordered my turkey from
Butchers and veg from greengrocers which I am collecting this afternoon

Shops are rammed at the moment. I’m glad I don’t have to go.
