Getting into this - its fun, camp and very moreish
However those that want a historical accurate drama wont enjoy it but I find it refreshing for a period drama set in England (a lot in London) is written by an American and obviously the stars are modern (apart from Dame Julie Andrews of course - seen but not heard ). Its a new take on tried and tested period drama formula and the review seems rather favourable too Its great fun and good for escaping dreary covid Christmastime Anyone else hooked (or otherwise) ? Ooohhh this is on my list to watch! ♥ Period things, right up my street, can't beat big frocks, gorgeous houses and some fun in the bedrooms!

I love it! Up to episode 6 in season 1 and the costumes and locations are amazing. Super saucy without showing much either (other than the occasional bottom) Shonda Rhimes has the magic touch, I especially love the narration by Julie Andrews!
Edited to add that Daphne (Phoebe) really reminds me of Keira Knightly at times. Edited at 10:11 PM. |

I love the way they have up to date music played by the string quartets - bizarre but zany and zeitgeist. I have just watched up to episode 4 and one of the scene (I wont say any more) really did make me blush but it was so wonderfully done ...
I hear it has been commissioned for a second series 👍 |

Absolutely loving it! It’s beautifully made, funny in places and super steamy! We have watched 6 episodes today and plan on watching the final two tomorrow.
