I liked it we only went on once but would have gone again if we'd had the opportunity.

I think the Paris version is better though. Kids were expecting more small drops as we'd been to Paris first!

Yes the Paris version is better and longer. It was built 20 years after the Florida ride so I guess they had enough space to plan early and make it as long as the Disneyland version, which is also longer with more drops. But as my first experience was in Orlando, then Anaheim then Paris, I still love the WDW version, heck I love all of them. The Shanghai ride looks to be the best ever though, looks absolutely amazing on YouTube... I think one day I'll have to go!

It's not a headline ride it's about as good as the pirate ride at Drayton manor but is Disney with Johnny Depp stuck on a chair at the end.
It's just a fun slow gentle boat ride but not worth a long wait.

I do love it, yes, it's not fast paced, but as said it's an original and along with Carousel of Progress and the 3 mountains, would never like to see these go.

That seems a little unfair on POTC, it is on a whole other level to that ride, the quality of the theming and the animatronics blow it away!

The pirate ride at DM has now gone- i was gutted as personally felt it was one of the best rides they had!
