We came back from the West coast in Janurary and hoping to head out again in December.

You'll have a great time!

Well done on getting the flights booked, and wow, what a great price on the hotel!

We're hoping to get back to the west coast next July, have to wait until August to see if I can get Miles flights with VA, if not, we will be looking out for bargains with other airlines.

I've just been looking at hojoanaheim It's a budget hotel, but only a 10 min walk from Disneyland - might be worth a look.

we stayed at the HOJO anaheim this passed december - got it for about $60p/n which was a bargain. Nothing startling, very basic, but great for the money.

Looking at October time too - if not this year then next - tigger - thats alot for direct flights - virgins through mid october LHR - SFO & LAX - LHR is only £400 !?

Octobers supposed to be a nice time to go too - we went december and got a few rainstorms whilst in Anaheim & LA - great in vegas though (chilly but dry!)

We have booked the HOJO Anaheim for the Disney leg of our trip this year. Got it for £53.00 per night (6 Nights, 31 Jul - 6th Aug).
Chose on price & location really, we dont need a full service hotel.
Save on those parking charges too.

Great bargain! I was wondering when you used Hotwire could you work out which hotel it was going to be or not. Ive heard on other forum people sayign that you can narrow it down a bit.

If you use betterbidding you can really narrow it down. I've booked about 7 times using Hotwire & Priceline in the past two years and, using betterbidding, always got exactly the hotel I thought I was going to get.

I did narrow it down to one of two - either the Radisson or the Holiday Inn. By looking at the facilities - it said wi-fi, fitness centre and pool - and the map of the area (ie the Doubletree was not in the 'Fisherman's Wharf' area and most of the others in Fishermans wharf were more than 3*) I thought it was one of those. However when I looked at the list of facilities on the Radisson website they were in exactly the same order as on the hotwire site (ie fitness centre, pool, wi-fi) whereas the Holiday Inn listed them differently. I just took a leap and 'guessed' it would be the Radisson... and as i say my guess was correct!

Can i just ask those of you who have recomended the HOJO - where did you book it from please? I can't find it for less than £60 so was just wondering if there was someone else to try! Thanks

ETA: Forget that last question - I've just found it for £54 a night on hotels.com! I'll run this past DH when he gets home tonight but it looks good. My DD would LOVe the water park!

That's great news we love California.
We are staying as the Sheraton Park Anaheim this time and have read a few posts on here saying how lovely the hotel is so we can't wait to go now and see for ourselves.
