$20 Parking! !

When did this sneak in - that is extortionate. Last year it was only $17 a day.

One of the reasons I stay on site. That would be $280 in two weeks!

Just has to be factored in. Still much better value than here. The state of some of the council run carparks in Leeds is appalling, prices extortionate, and you certainly couldn't reuse the ticket. Run into a problem and there isn't a member of staff - apart from traffic wardens - to be found. Theme park parking is manned, clean, well maintained, and includes transport; it all has to be paid for.I'm happy to pay it. 😃

I still think paying to park is taking the pee when you look at the cost of the tickets, JMO of course . This applies all theme parks...

Even Chessington charges £10 to park in their car park or £3 to park in their grass car park (ie mud, pot holes). $20 isnt cheap but at least the car parks are very well maintained, it's another benefit of onsite stays which Disney appear to be highlighting by such increases.

I agree the car parks are very well organised and maintained and will always happily pay to use them. I also understand increases in the charge is inevitable but a 17.5% rise in one swoop does seem a little steep!

I saw that on a fb grp earlier ..

I don't think it has to be that expensive given how much people pay for park tickets and then food / merchandise whilst inside the parks .

Mind you even if we did parks daily and paid $280 for 2 weeks it's still loads cheaper to stop offsite and park parking than to stop onsite with " free " parking .

I'm sure many will disagree but Disney imo is becoming greedy .

I agree, Disney are becoming greedy and $20/day is expensive considering prices for park tickets etc. Thankfully we only visit disney 4-5 times during a typical holiday and yes even free parking couldn't persuade me to stay onsite, too expensive for my pocket

I also saw this on Facebook earlier today -the general consensus is that now they won't have to bother with change (as much) so it will be quicker /easier (don't think that's the real reason myself ) Wonder how long before the rest fall in with an increase ?

I think it's counter productive, a lot of people have a budget and will just spend less (and probably less than the $3 difference) in the parks.
