EMH and staying off-site

Tried a few places for an answer on this, including WDW on Twitter and nobody has come up with an answer...

When staying off-site and there's EMH, say 8:00 and the park officially opens at 9:00, how early do they let off-site guests in?

This is pertinent for me as I'm staying off-site in September and there's EMH every day

so at MK you can't see the 'park opening' show which is something like 8:50?
When there is no EMH, they let everyone in at about 8

The show will still be 5 mins before the main opening time so you will still see it. You will still get access to Main Street but will be held at the top until after the show finishes at 9am. Onsite guests will be allowed access anytime between 8am and 9am. HTH

If I remember rightly the areas outside main st USA are roped off and you will need to scan you magic band to be allowed past early, they may also scan you band as you join the ride que pre 9am to catch people who have slipped past ( year before last I saw someone at Hollywood studios who had slipped past been escorted out of the park during emh as they weren’t staying off site)
