We stayed at Cheeca Lodge in Islamorada and loved it. Very relaxing. Several restaurants in walking distance. We also went to an outdoor restaurant/bar type place with live music whilst you watched the sun set.
Also Theatre of the Sea in Islamorada which is worth a visit. We loved it there. The only thing we don’t love in the keys are the mozzies!

😂😂. We got a pretty good deal on travelbag! I even phoned them to check the price included taxes etc as it looked too good to be true. Price was right so I booked immediately. Such a great hotel.

There's a thread here which I added to:

https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/sho... php?t=1142697

Also, watch out for resort fees with your accommodation and whether the hotel has free parking. we booked a cheapy hotel in Miami because of all the extra fees.

Thanks for the link.
Which hotel did you stay at, and would you recommend it?

We stayed at the Hotel Belleza

Pros: Not too far from Collins Drive but away from the party hotels, so was quiet
Clean, comfy and modern
Nice staff
Affordable

Cons
No pool although you can use one at a nearby hotel
Shower screen was rubbish so bathroom floor was wet every day
No restaurant although room had a kitchenette so not a problem
Resort fee $25 per night
Valet parking $39 per night
Resort fee covered beach towels (we did use) laundry (only one washer and one dryer which were usually in use) X-box, (my boys tried to play it but couldn't get it to work), partner pool access (we didn't use).

We had a good stay but I wouldn't stay there again
