Spending the afternoon doing some budget planning while watching Brighton beat Villa, I was looking at ticket prices and saw the Black Friday offer from ATD for combined Disney / Universal tickets which is a decent saving.

I was just about to log out when I went back into my test basket to check the figures and I spotted that they are offering a £25 per person deposit with the balance not due until September. Looking at risk v potential saving, I decided to go for the tickets after all.

As a hypocrite, please feel free to completely ignore any views I share in future
This is exactly what I have done! £25 deposit pp for the Disney/ universal tickets with the option to cancel for any reason. No balance payment until 10 days before travel. Got the free magic bands too so think it’s a good deal.

We’ve just pre ordered our combi for September 2021, with free magic band, not that’s why I bought them 😀 I like the COVID Insurance 👍

If you have paid for the tickets in full I think you can but not if you have only paid the deposit

Some companies do actually buy the tickets when you pay with a deposit only so you can then add them to your MDE account but they do tend to be non refundable or any reason unless you pay extra for insurance. There is no way you can add tickets to your MDE account otherwise.
Our tickets are non-refundable but as we bought them with our Flydrive (deposit paid only) we can only get a refund if we cannot go due to FCO advice or the airline cancels the flights. We could add the tickets just about straight away.
