Great Service from Virgin Holidays

My wife and I have been thinking for a few days now about slipping our trip from Apr to Sep next year, despite all the good mutterings about vaccines etc. What made our mind up was an email from the man who rented us his villa to say that due to lack of bookings - because of covid 19 - he has been forced to sell his property in Davenport. So today I spent 30 minutes on the phone with the most helpful guy I have ever encountered in a call centre, Virgin Holidays or any other. He changed our booking like-for-like from Apr to Sep but he also consolidated a 1 night hotel booking (made separately via VH) onto the same booking. Not only that but the trip worked out to nearly £800 cheaper!
