Chris,

Cheap flights are available nearly every day. Here's MAN March/April;

and LHR for February/March;

.

Also you won't find any flights prior to 5th February as the service is not scheduled to resume until then.

I don't have enough points to take advantage of this.
22k at best...
How do people get so many...

But I'm still hoping for a good indirect flight last 2 weeks of August

Finally got through to a lovely guy after 1hr 40 on hold. Gave me too many options to be honest (I had three vouchers on my account!)

In the end, decided to book premium return flights to Washington in June for only 20k in miles and £948 in taxes thanks to two of my vouchers. Forgot how much the premium taxes sting you... from my maths, the deal and vouchers have enabled me to save 49,600 miles. I'll take that.

Just booked 2 UC return seats from Manchester at the end of May for a bargain price, cheaper than both PE and Economy, and 20 minutes later the price has increased by £6692!

Hi Steve - it was me being nebby, I covered Man and LHR to MCO for the months of Feb, March and April, all dates were showing the £2440 UC price and 90K of miles for reward seats with circa £648 of taxes and fees. It's the first time I've been on VA site for months so it isn't an archived page.

I'll clear cookies and have a bit neb again

You could buy miles today with 50% additional miles, so a premium flight both ways in aug would cost £802.00, £457 tax +£345 points, I mention premium as that is what only seems available direct.

Feel.very happy! Booked 3 upper class flights 2 weeks ago and they didn't have a morning flight on Sunday so I booked Saturday 11am. Today I saw the offer and Sunday now had a morning flight. Rang them up and they changed it to Sunday and gave me 71,000 Miles back and waved the £30 fee each! Very happy. Just a shame my inbound flights I need to get home don't get released untill 3rd December lol

The £994 UC price showed this time Steve, but reward seats remained at 47500k each way.

As you know, we're winter visitors, and whilst we could take a risk on booking Feb to 31st May we're just not sure as we said we wouldn't book flights until US borders opened and our FCO cleared US travel - decisions, decisions

Thanks for the info you provide
