I saw these prices and because I haven’t booked my flights I can’t book! So frustrating! 😏😏

Just spotted these flights hope they might help someone:

Travelgenio (via skyscanner) with Norwegian Air UK
LGW to MCO - DIRECT
18/08/20 - 01/09/20
Price per adult £448.45
Includes checked baggage (if you read terms the suitcase icon indicates checked baggage included)

Schools in our county go back on the 03/09/20 so still in summer holidays

I know there are rumours about Norwegian being in trouble at the moment, so I guess its a risk, maybe make sure you are covered for end supplier failure.

Great price. But my money is on them not honouring it. At some point, possibly even after having taken your money you get a call or email saying flights gone and they offer more expensive options.

Indeed, a bit of internet research suggests Travelgenio 'have form':

trustpilot/review/travelgenio
sitejabber/reviews/travelgenio
kkpradeeban.blogspot/201...-scam.html?m=1

I'm sure some folk have had good experiences with them too.

Personally I wouldn't touch them with somebody else's bargepole, least of all my own.

Saw these prices offered by Travegenio also.
Reason I decided to avoid was because when I looked at booking direct with Norwegian, they are only offering flights as far as 26/08/2020...
So how are Travelgenio able to offer as far as September!? Seemed too good to be true for my liking!

Regards

Norweigan have not released those flights yet. Aug dates for a return with norweigan are currently more like £800.

So either - Travelginio have some how negotiated a 40% discount on unreleased tickets that is exclusive to them.

Or they are a travel agency with some questionable practices using a bait and switch technique.

Online reviews show form for terrible customer service.

I know which of the options above i think more likely. If I'm wrong I have missed a cracking deal.

Thank you for this. I'm waiting for BA prices to drop, they're ridiculous atm for our dates in August. We need 5 adult tickets I have a lot of points to use, which is why I'd particularly prefer BA, plus my partner is a silver flyer and we can book seats at time of booking. I really only want to fly direct too.

However, I'm keeping my eye open elsewhere.

I have many times booked through an agent because they offered a much better price than the airline direct? I don’t know how or why this is, perhaps they offer a certain amount of flights etc to agents and price the ones they sell themselves based on their own sales targets? Eg last year I booked through Opodo Virgin flights to Toronto £370 pp the exact same flighst at the same time direct with Virgin were £650 pp ? I mean I don’t know the answer and I have just guessed ? But this has been our experience. (Although I have no experience with the agent in question here)
