Seems to be a bunch of us waiting for the BA LGW-TPA route to come down. 4 weeks from 23rd/24th July for 2A/3C with a Large SUV (Suburban) was just under £5k this year - still up at around £6,800 at the moment, the same as when the flights released.

Prices have normally dropped by now (we booked 2nd Sept last year), so will probably bite as soon as it is below £6k, which still seems crazy to me for 5 of us, but DW wants to fly direct... can't face the evening drive up from Miami this time 'round.

With Disney/Universal prices and the GBP/dollar - looks like the holiday will be about £2-3k more expensive than this year... ouch !

Generally speaking is it more expensive to fly to and from a different place. Ie ive been looking at adding another destination to our trip from LGW to JFK or Miami then fly home from Orlando . But they seem to come up more expensive than LGW to Orlando.

Price drop this morning for our outbound date of 8/8/2020, but we're looking at PE flights. Now £511 cheaper than they have been. £1451 return now, still far too much though! This is with BA.
Haven't had chance to check if drops have happened on the economy prices.

Mark...can you remind me when you bought your tickets? I think I remember it was boxing day? Looks like I'm heading in that direction should prices not fall considerably in text couple of weeks.

It was indeed. Not a date you can easily forget. I’m not saying there won’t be good prices to be had in the meantime but we’ve always personally had the best summer school holiday prices at Xmas.

I’ve gone ahead and booked. 21/7/20 Man-Atl-mco with KLM (virgin plane) 6/8/20 Mco-Man direct £2131 3 adults 1teen. Will add baggage at check in as we’ll only take 2 cases. This will be our first time so any advice re Atlanta connection gratefully received. We’ll have 3hr25 so hopefully more than enough time,

Well done for booking! I'd be very happy with that price. Waiting for my August dates to come down a bit!

Happy planning!
