Similar to Wales, if Plaid Cymru gain independence.
Many public sector roles would be scaled back in Wales as the work would be transferred to the UK .
It would presumably be the same in Scotland ?

See that's the thing why do SNP want to be independent?

EU is all about the $. They will have a huge budget deficit when we have gone,(second largest net contributor) with Germany, France and to the lesser extent Italy funding the gravy train. Poland taking out €9bn a year. Belgium taking out a great big chunk unbelievably. Unless Scotland can show they'll be a net contributor, the only reason they'll let Scotland in will be to try and agitate matters to get England, Wales and NI back in.

As a proud descendant of Scotland (both sides of my family), who proudly displays our tartan, I didn't want Scotland to leave the UK and held my breath just afore the result was read. I would do so again.

My sister's neighbour calls Nicola the fishwife, took a few seconds for the penny to drop...

Your 100% spot on the EU did say that. I remember the day well. It was the day we all woke up to the result and the first minister had hot footed it over to Brussels asap.

Like Ardbeg but it doesn’t like me due to its high phenolic content.
