I've moved to POR, same price but I had to pay a £50 amendment fee. I thought if it was the same price you didn't have to pay 😢 oh well now need to change my universal hotel too😱😱

Keep looking as availability changes all the time. I needed a room for 5 nights at CBR for our daughter's boyfriend and only pirate rooms were available which were out of budget, so we booked him in to All Stars instead. Then a standard room at CBR came up for 4 nights, so we swapped to that, and then the 5th night also appeared so we added that on. It took patience and checking multiple times a day, but we got there in the end!

That changed a while ago now. Price has to go up to waive the fee.
The trick now is to just book initially for one person, then if you need to amend you can add on the 2nd/3rd/4th person to make the cost more (their Disney tickets bump the price up).
You can add people right up until you go and they will get the free dining still.

I should have done this 🙄. In the grand scheme of things it's only cost me £50 extra so I shouldn't moan. Attraction Tickets Direct (who I booked Universal with) didn't charge an amendment fee 🍾🍾 x x
