Gulf Coast 2 day road trip...

Hi,

It looks likely we will fly into Miami on a Saturday.

We check in to Disney on the Tuesday.

Therefore, looking to stay in Miami the first night and then travel up the Gulf Coast for the remaining 2 nights.

We'd really like to stay in 2 different places for these 2 nights (which i know won't give us lots of time to explore but allows us to see places and know what we like for future).

We'd like nice beach and bit of an atmosphere!

Where would you stay?

Naples is lovely. Nice restaurants and shops and it has a pier and beach.

We are moving to Marco island tomorrow. This is on the outskirts of Naples and we expect to spend some time there. I am doing a daily trip report on the Dibb. Titled highs and lows of our 5th Florida holiday.
