Animal Kingdom resort - best place to eat & view animals
Hi,
I've never ate at any Disney resort restaurants. I would like to go somewhere for a nice birthday dinner and be able to see the animals on the savanna. Would the best option be Sanaa or are there there places with better views? Any advice is appreciated! Thanks, Marie |

We ate at Sanaa last week and really enjoyed it. We had a really good view of Giraffes, zebras and a lot of birds, but we had a table right at the window. We've eaten there previously and had a table that was more central where you couldn't see as much. Am such you could ask for a window table when checking in, as long as you're happy to wait for one.

Sanaa is the only one with really good animal views. Bear in mind it is at Kidani (the Disney vacation club bit of the hotel) which is a walk or shuttle away from the main hotel. The buses stop at both.
I would book a table early evening when it is still light but the animals may be more active. Turn up early and ask for a window table - you may get lucky and if not there is a place where you can go and look at the animals while you wait with the buzzer. Also don’t miss the bread service! |

thanks! I will book early evening as suggested. We're going for my 40th so will request a window table. I've been looking at pictures of the views and food and it looks great. Will also get the bread service.
Thanks again! |

Sanaa is fab and you can both see the animals from the dining room and head outside to a viewing point before/after your meal too.
Whilst you can't see the animals from Boma or Jiko, you can head outside before/after your meal and I'd say the viewing area there is better than the one for Sanaa. They're all great places to eat though - you can't go far wrong with any of them. |
