Worth finding an Emmett and/or Bowen therapist. Mine released my jaw after a horrendous tooth extraction. Have also got rid of the mouth guard I had for years.

Very ex dental nurse and lifelong sufferer of bruxism (tooth grinding) if I'm really stressed I wake up with my jaw clenched then my face hurts most of the day. I wore a mouth guard for a long time when I was a lot younger. Just a bottom guard and it did help.

I too have suffered since I was a teenager, so a good few years.
Jaws lock, which is horrendous. I am a grinder, I’ve worn a mouth guard on and off over the years. Since an awful bout of pain last year I got a new mouth guard and not stopped using it.
I have recently read if you suffer with hyper mobility, this can cause problems with your jaw.
I’ve recently been diagnosed with this... explains a lot for me really.
