How do you book a 1 night stay at GF, Poly etc

Staying off site next year however we got married in Florida & im trying to see if i can get a 1 night stay although there would be 6 in total with our 4 young kids, in addition to then doing the fireworks cruise.
Was on Disneyholidays & they are looking at over 1500 - 2000 euros for 1 night only.

Try the US Disney site or just check all the online TAs. Often the only room types available are the expensive ones so that’s why the high price.

How do I go about renting points? How does that work out with the rate to pay? Might do some more digging on that.

You’d need to see how many points per night the accommodation was. I think with six people you’d probably want a two bedroom unit (?) (not sure how old your little ones are)

You can check how many points you need on the DVC forum. Owners rent at about £12/point here, so a unit costing 10 points per night would cost £120 per night (with a two bedroom unit though it will be a lot more points than that though).

Alternatively Dave’s DVC rental. Not sure if you can do one night stays through then though, might be a minimum of two.

If you go to the DVC request website (dave's vacation club rentals) you can select your dates and it will give you an idea of the cost on dollars for the points. You can also book through them.

There is a forum on here for requesting DVC points rentals which can work out cheaper again but imo they don't come up that often you just have to keep an eye out.

DVC points rental will definitely work out cheaper for room only however!

If you put your dates, preferred resort and room type here it will tell you how many points you need:

https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/dvc_points.php

It usually works out a lot cheaper than other types of bookings.

We went through Dave’s Vacation Villas and paid £389 for 2 nights at the Boardwalk Inn Villas with Boardwalk View. A standard price room through
Disney themselves was £850.
