Advice for Thomas cool seating map

Hi later in sept 2020 am doing a road trip from San Francisco Before ending in Vegas with a bunch of lads from work. Anyhow we have found out today that Thomas cook already have flights out. If I was to book a multi city flight direct man-sfo and the Vegas to man it’s only £649 which I believe is a good price not sure if anyone thinks different.
The one thing I don’t under stand is the seat map. If we want to pick our seats I have a few options. Almost all are £25 but then a few are £35 doesn’t explain why they are the extra £10. And then they have XL seat which I presume as the I’d is a larger seat with more leg room.
Does anyone have any info on these different options

You read lots of threads in here that people want to seat as far forward as possible to be nearer the exit to get off quicker.
TC have obviously seen a business opportunity in this.

Ha ha thats what my wife said which suprised me that they would be so cheeky but then again maybe not. i cant see any reason why its more apart from that.

That’s exactly the reason as most scheduled airlines would do. For example the 2 seats at either side are more expensive than the 4 seats in the middle.

Or you take the risk and don’t pay up front. I find the leg room pretty good in standard economy seats on Thomas Cook.

We have booked for next year with TC in reverse so into vegas and out of San Fran. We booked premium back but economy out and just went for the £25 seats. Couldn’t see any benefit in the £35 ones either!

No I know it’s so you can get off quicker I also don’t see the benefit if that. Thanks for confirming it. I’m tempted to book premium if the price is right for the way back just to try and sleep a little after spending 5 nights in Vegas.

When we booked premium was only about £30 each more and as seat selection is £25 it really only cost us a fiver each so rude not to! I would love to upgrade on the way out too if I could get a decent price.
