Evening Meal in Washington DC

Hi there, we are off to Washington DC for 3 nights before setting off on a road trip to visit family. Does anyone have any suggestions for evening meals. Pizza and steak/chicken restaurants preferably-nothing too fancy! Thanks in advance.

We went to Clyde's of Georgetown after reading one of the trip reports. It was lovely but very busy so you do need to book.

we went to the Capitol City Brewing co capcitybrew/
on New York Ave, so pretty much in the centre of things . Nice food and reasonable priced - i had mix & max tacos , DH had ribs.

We also went to the McCormicks and schmidt which is primarily a seafood restaurant (love the shrimp!) but has other items on the menu too. Its nicely set out with white linen table cloths.

for our 3rd night we went to the hard rock cafe! as i just have to go when there is one when i visit a new city haha

I haven�t been yet but I�ve heard good things about Pi Pizzeria. It�s on our list to try.
