Glasgow green parking
Coming for the piping on sat17th where would be best to park? We would need all day, somewhere with plenty availability, but we should be there for 9am so might not be too bad

I’d use one of these cityparkingglasgow/...articleid=2154. Parking in Glasgow is a nip if you don’t have a permit. Have a great day. My BIL and a friend of mine used to be a pipe band, British Legion in Arbroath possibly? It was a few years ago now.

You could try parkopedia to see what is available. The nearest free on street parking will be at the Gorbals but I would expect it to be very busy.
Where are you coming from OP? Is there anywhere you can "Park and Ride" from? You could change at Queen St Station to a train stopping at Bridgeton or High Street.

I was going to suggest park and ride as well. There is a good one at shields road beside the underground. It’s not that far from st Enoch underground station to Glasgow green maybe 15/20 mins.

Try Yourparkingspace.co.uk
We use this quite often for going to the football, including 2 or 3 games in and around Glasgow, and have had no problems at all. |

We went to the grade one qualifiers today and it was busy. It’s also Pride in Glasgow this weekend so the city will be jumping. We are taking the train into town for today’s competition as the parking was really limited yesterday so I can’t imagine how bad it will be today with 160 pipe bands going not to mention thousands of supporters.
