Early magic hours, confused, please help?!

Hiya!

So we're confused about the Early Magic Hours at Universal and IOA... We thought if you're staying at the hotels, then every day you can go in an hour earlier than ticket only guests... Is this right or am I wrong? I noticed on the Park Opening House on here only specific parks have early hours on certain days so now I'm confused!

It is usually early hours for either US or IOA, not both. They are only ever both included during really busy times. VB has an early hour every day.

As said it’s generally one or the other park. They don’t change daily either (for some reason!) it’s usually the same one for a large chunk of time.

So as hotel guests, you only enter the park before the general public if that park is Early Hours? But it will be one or the other every day?

Only one of the of the parks will have early entry, but it does not necessarily alternate. When we went a couple of years ago it was IoA every day but when we went in February it was US every day.

Thanks all. I see it now. Had a look on their website too and it states Universal only through August, not IOA. So hotel guests go in at normal time for Islands xx
