According to the website it's a buffet -

Who ordered the scrambled eggs with a side of malarkey? Straight from Mount Crumpit, The Grinch™ brings his special blend of mischief, turning your morning meal into an animated adventure.

After you choose from delectable buffet selections, get your camera ready. The Green One himself will make the rounds, stopping at every table to pose for photos. Will his heart grow three sizes bigger that day? Or will his belly? All we can say is watch out—he’s been known to steal his share of bacon here and there.

You'll need to purchase theme park admission to attend the character breakfast, and reservations are required. Annual pass discounts may apply.

sorry but I can't help with the allergy question.

Awe I haven't done this in such a long time, it was one of the funniest character breakfasts we have had.

After reading this post, I had a google and found the breakfast on the Universal website but I couldn’t see anywhere to check prices, it just gave a bit of info.
Am I looking in the wrong place?
Was thinking of booking the Marvel character dinner when we stay but this could be a better option.

It's $35 for an adult. I rang up on Monday - they don't open the bookings for it until 'mid November'.
