1st wedding anniversary gift ideas?

1st Anniversary is paper, I can't cheat and just get a card

No "event" type gifts as we're in Corfu.
Back in the UK in October for a holiday so want to buy it then (anniversary not till Jan-I like to be prepared &#128514

Any ideas?

A book that is particularly special to him? A print of the song lyrics of 'your' song (I think they do these on Etsy)?

For our first anniversary my husband wrote out our wedding vows on some lovely embossed paper and had it framed. I loved it.

My sister's first anniversary is coming up and I'm getting the sheet music of their first dance framed.

One of my friend's bought her husband a toilet roll with Happy Anniversary printed on the sheets for their first anniversary. I thought it was quite fun, first anniversary being paper, and also practical

Someone I work with has ordered a photo frame, I think from Esty. With space for - photo of proposal, photo of engagement and wedding photo.

Obviously might not work for everyone but I thought a nice idea.

For ours we bought passes to a safari park so we could visit all year round so something like that, Merlin Passes, Cinema passes?

Or books, prints, a photograph of the two of you?

For our first anniversary almost 37 years ago we bought a leather journal printed with our names and date of marriage every year we fill it in with the UPS the meh moments the downright awful and our hopes for next year
My 2 DIL one married almost 4 years asked for this for there first and DIL2 wants one for there first anniversary in November
Not my idea but something my parents did they are fascinating family
History's to pass on or look back at

Some lovely ideas, I'd get a framed picture of your wedding vows or his speech maybe, places like etsy will have some brilliant ideas too x
