I absolutely loved it. Thought it has the most perfect ending to bring the set to a close. Made me quite sad that its over :-(

Watched it at the weekend and thought it was very clever. The emotional connection so many of us have with this film, having grown up with, my brother growing up when it first came out and now my 4 children, The dis-connect at the end was brilliant and VERY emotional. I cried, my wife cried and my 4 girls cried too.
Yes, it could have involved the "old" cast more, but it was still brilliant! I want to watch it again! |

Thought the graphics and effects were fantastic, particularly the rain at the beginning. Bo seemed odd but think that's coz I've never thought of her as porcelain.
I enjoyed it but thought a lot of the plot links were too contrived. But it still got me in the end. Could feel meself wellin up as the final scene became apparent and was discreetly sniffin and wipin tears with me finger. Will watch again. |

I absolutely loved it, as a stand-alone film rather than a TS sequel as I agree about the main original characters not being in it as much. I loved the new characters so much, especially Duke Caboom, Forky, Ducky and Bunny. I cried a few times but the Lion King trailer before also set me off, my husband had a tear at the ending. TS3 will always be my favourite but I think this is up there as one of the best Pixar films, it was amazing

Watched it at the weekend - had wondered if it would be too samey but thought it was excellent, and a really nice ending.

In our house I am probably the only one who likes TS3 but I found the end bit (where Andy hands over his toys to the girl) very moving.
I didn't cry much. Honest

My plans to see it at the weekend have had to be deferred to next week.
But I feel better about wandering in with my jumbo box of Kleenex and some sunglasses. Be prepared ! |

We are going to see it tomorrow, Toy Story 3 has me sobbing buckets every time I see it, so I thought Toy Story 4 wouldn’t be so sad but reading this thread has made me think I may need to take the tissues again 😀 😢

I think it was good to have different characters and an ending which draws it to a conclusion. Without giving away any spoilers I thought more about the message it was giving after it had ended.
I agree with the fact Bo Peep being made of porcelain being a bit strange. I always thought she was plastic as a toy 😁 but that's a very minor thing Edited at 10:01 AM. |

Saw it at the weekend. Enjoyed it. Thought it was as good as the other TS films. However it probably should have been called Woody's Film.
