IDrive NASCAR indoor karting

We took the kids to the IDrive NASCAR indoor karting today. We bought it through Groupon and they both got 2 races and 30 credits for the arcade. My son has been nagging to go karting for ages. He absolutely loved it, but my daughter wasn’t too keen.

It was a good way to spend a couple of hours, and something different to do.

Paid $52 for 2 people for 2 races each + arcade credits. I added a promo code SAVE, which took some money off the advertised price.

As they are under 16 they compete in the junior race. 1st race there were 4 of them, and 2nd race was 3 of them. My son said he felt very safe doing it. Daughter crashed, but mainly as she was going too slow and didn’t turn the wheel enough!

We did get there for opening (12pm) which i’d recommend, as you aren’t waiting around too long.

Can I ask, what’s the story with groupon deals? Do they email you a voucher once you have paid or send in the post?

If you’ve got the Groupon app on your phone, you just show them the bar code. Otherwise, you can print it out to show them. We’ve got data on our phones for use in the US, so not a problem showing the code on the app.
