The walk in centre in Crawley was amazing and in fact I am going to email them when I can to thank them.
The difference to A & E where we live is unbelievable albeit I appreciate they are not an A & E.
They were also very understanding that we had a flight to catch and saw Megan pretty quick.

Rang NHS direct but they said stop taking laxatives. She got worse then went to A and E but 6-7 hour wait and we were being picked up before that.We got to see a triage nurse but not a Dr.
We travelled to Gatwick in the most cramped people carrier ever and the trailer was leaking.
We got to Gatwick at 8am and we then had a taxi to Crawley to a walk in centre which was so much better then Wales.
She has an infection prob due to not going to toilet and toxins in her body. They have given her Antibiotics.
We only then just made the plane. It’s been very stressful but we are now here and having a chill day at the villa pool.
Happy everything worked out ok. You need to tell your insurance company otherwise your insurance will be void.

Just to say that in the UK if you have a walk in centre and you are able to make your own way to it I would always make that my first point of call as they are generally quicker than A&E , plus if they do refer you to A&E your wait is lower as they have done all the triage. In Liverpool we actually have a childrens walk in centre and every time we have used them they have been fantastic.

So glad you found out what was wrong so quickly at the walk in centre. Hopefully you can now just enjoy your holiday. We live in the south west of England and I have waited 8 hours in A and E with my daughter, the triage nurse told us to go home but I said no I wanted my daughter to see a doctor. She was admitted into hospital for 5 days. You have to follow your instincts.
