Yes - though not sure it counts as cheese

I use that for pizza but wouldn't call it "real" cheese! Did you look at the cheese counter near the deli instead of the mass market preshredded stuff by Kraft, Sargento etc? They do have "artisan" style stuff including fresh mozzarella. It isn't cheap and you won't find buffalo mozzarella but they do have a good selection of lots of different cheeses.

Thanks for all the replies. Am going to try the deli counter in publix, and we will be in whole foods at some point. I will report!

I have dietary restrictions that limit my intake of cheese but I love to walk through the cheese section at Whole Foods and nibble. They will give you a taste of any cheese.

So I thought that now I’m here I would report back. I am currently enjoying Kerrygold Dubliner cheddar bought pre packed in Walmart. Happy!

There is a decent cheddar we buy in Publix (have also bought in Target & Walmart), google tells me it's called Cabot and I think has some Tartan on the wrapping.

There are various versions: Sharp, Extra Sharp etc. I have tried most and it's a pretty good match for cathedral City which I like Mature and Mrs S/Teenager like Extra Mature or Vintage (I also like these).

I found it by google searching Walmart as I could not remember the name
