The response was... Hi Tracy. All items left on our flights arriving in to the UK are handed in to the airport authority, so if he is found, he'll be safe at Manchester. The telephone number to call the company is 0330 024 0088. I hope he's found soon. Not sure if that number is any help... fingers crossed you get him back.

Any luck? DD is 22, nearly 23, and there is devastating panic if her "Floppy Bear" goes missing - even in the house, so I really feel for you both.
