Twilight Check in
Flying PE with Virgin in a few weeks time, just myself and DH.
We are staying over at the Radisson the night before so not sure whether to bother doing twilight check in or not? Will it make much difference for us time and hassle wise. We will be utilising the exec lounge at the hotel and booked in for bfast. What are your thoughts guys? |

Without exception we always stay overnight before our flights at either LGW or MAN. We are roughly equidistant from both and seen far too many motorway closures over the years to risk driving on the day.
We always do twilight whether it's with VS, BA or TC (who stopped it last year ). Primarily because we get boarding cards and next day go straight through security without going anywhere near the check-in desk. Mick

If its available, we use it, saves lining up next day with everyone else. Twilight check-in always seems so empty when we get there. Drop your cases off, relax and go and have a drink in the bar! Next day, head straight to security.
Only downside, is having to make sure your liquids are in the hold luggage, and making sure you have nothing in the cabin luggage that is banned or oversized. So take small toothpastes, toiletries etc.

What time do you have to get to the airport in the morning if you've done twilight check the night before?
