What time do you have to leave on Halloween night at Universal?

Hi there,

We only have the normal day tickets throughout October/November and not the Horror Night. What time can we stay in the park(s) until?

Thanks!

You need to be out of Studios by 5 to 5.30 but Islands stays open later until 9 when HHN is on.

They start warning from around 4:45, just be aware it's not Disney, you will be herded out as those staying in have to go to holding areas

What they have done previously is closed off part of Diagon Alley at about 4.30pm so people can get in and not out. they just after 5pm you are encouraged towards the Hogsmead express. At the other side, they will start to check the queue going into universal to ensure you have tickets for HHN at about 4.40pm and you are given a wrist band, otherwise you are not allowed to travel. So you get slightly longer in this area.

By 5pm, most of the "Stay and Scream" people (those with HHN tickets) will be in one of the holding pens or close to going to one, they now offer food and seating so people tend to start drifting there about 4.30. You can't enter these areas without a ticket.

From about 3pm at Finnegans, they start to scan your HHN ticket and you are given a wrist band to show you can stay.

They will stop serving food a little before 5pm around the park to encourage you to eat up and leave (for example, the last of the day people will be escorted out at Simpsons at about 5.05/5.10 and HHN people allowed in).

They start to close routes off around the park at around 4.50pm, so you can only walk where they want you to walk and will funnel you out very quickly. I would say by 5.15/5.20 they are personally escorting the last couple of people out (we tend to sit outside of the Simpson's bar area so we a good view of this across the lake).

They start to check the toilets at 5pm sharp.

Shops start to close down from about 4.45pm with the Universal Store being the last to close at about 5.10/5.15

They let people out of the pen from about 5.35 when they are sure they have cleared the park. You will seen the cleaners still out and about (in their HHN uniform of blood stained ragged tops!) and they will still be opening up the routes but it is very efficient and they are very good at getting things cleared and people moved on
