Beach Club - Cup of Tea
Staying in a Standard Room at the Beach Club Resort, first time in a Disney hotel, usually stay offsite in a villa.
Do these rooms have a kettle, for making a good cup of tea ? I guess not, that they will just have the standard US hotel coffee machine ? If so, can you those with a tea bag or do you need to take your own travel kettle ? |

They have coffee machines, at some disney resorts they do have kettles available if you ask, you need to speak to reception and request a tea kettle I believe and if they have one free they will bring it to the room for you. You can use coffee machines and put the tea bags in the pot and just let it put in the hot water, not an elegant solution but it does work, alternatively take a small travel kettle. I don't drink tea (yes I am British but no don't like the stuff!) but others in my family do and these are the various ways they have worked to get their essential morning cuppa so they can greet the day with a smile!

I would take a travel kettle, try a Russell Hobbs 23840 - it's duel voltage and automatically switches over when it's plugged in so you just need an adapter.
You will be able to get a tea kettle if they have some available but there are limited numbers. The problem with using the coffee pot is that the water isn't at boiling by the time it goes through the filter bit so the tea doesn't brew properly. I love tea #yorkshirelass

Take a travel kettle if you really need decent tea. The coffee makers will make it (pour water in the top and out a T Bag in the cup underneath), but frankly it isn’t the same. As above make sure your travel kettle is dual voltage. Or go to Walmart and buy a cheapie one.

We take a travel kettle as there might not be a kettle available to borrow.

Make sure your travel kettle is dual voltage or it will take forever to boil. X

I notice a lot of the hotels have the coffee machine with pods now, so you wouldnt be able to brew tea. I usually have a refillable mug and just get tea from the food court/cafe.It was Twynings tea last time we were there.

We’re here now, I called down once we’d settled into our room and a kettle was delivered within the hour. Takes a while to boil but certainly not as long as a travel kettle.
There are mugs in the room too which is good as we were at RPR before and there were only paper cups. |

We have just come back from the yacht club and whilst there is no kettle there is a coffee machine with English breakfast tea pods. They stock mainly coffee but if you go to reception and ask housekeeping to give you one type of pod I’m sure they would - we asked for extra coffee and they supplied. They also have twinnings tea bags in the refill area - loads of diff flavours- so you can also use them with your refillable mug 🙂 I can imagine the chew on with taking a kettle would be a nightmare!
