BA LGW-MCO business cost
So the prices almost halved today to £6,600 for 2 adults, 1 child (14), 6th - 27th Aug. Still a lot for return flights I know but it’s a treat for various reasons. I’ve got the seats on hold for 72 hours but do any of you seasoned travellers think this is a reasonable price or would you still expect lower for peak summer holidays? Thanks

That is very reasonable indeed especially for a peak time. We have travelled outside the peaks and our return club flights for our past 4 trips in the past three years have cost more than £2,200 each return.

Thanks MH that’s good to know. Those prices have already gone so I’m glad I paid to hold them. Think I’ll book and never look again, just get on with the rest of the planning 😂

A couple of weeks ago I booked Club World both legs for £1,700 but it’s for Nov.
So the price you’ve got for high season seems reasonable. If you’ve got Avios points you can exchange them for money off (not reward flights, ordinary flights). Only if booking flights only though. |

Sorry, IMHO I think that is expensive.
Although high season, Club sale prices tend to be constant and the same as May/Jun/Jul, so I would expect a better price than that during the Dec/Jan sale. Also don't forget to get fly-drive prices as they can make it cheaper sometimes. 1700 in Aug is more than a dream and very possible. 2k is too high. 2200 is always too much and BA will be lower at several times in year. Although hard, be patient. Edited at 12:36 AM. |

Seems very expensive.
Weve been flying CW flydrive to Florida in May, September & Christmas each year for the last 6-7 years. We once paid £1950 each for Christmas flights but our norm is £1700-£1850 each. Edited at 03:58 AM. |

I’d say that is expensive. My in laws have flown BA business in August for years and assure me they always pay around £1500. They defo did last year as I was there when they booked, that included a car too. You just have to be on the ball and keep checking.

Really sorry I got slightly confused. We paid around £1,500 each for return club flights, and I was thinking around £3,000 each. I guess £2,200 each is the going rate for August.
Apologies again, I blame old age. |

I often get BA Orlando flights on points but we have paid a few times as well and I am always checking prices. In February we paid £1,500 which I considered an absolute bargain for BA club, I have literally never seen it that low before. It is usually over £2k and whilst I never travel in August, I think £2200 would be very reasonable for high season.
