Cruise without kids - will we be able to escape?

Hi All,

Me and my husband have been to the parks (including HK & Tokyo) many times. I absolutely love Disney, but think on our next trip we should try one of the cruises. We do not have kids, so my question is, will it eat mistake to book 3 or 5 days on a vessel where we can't get away from them? Are there enough adult only active and facilities? Which cruise is recommended? Any tips appreciated.

Thanks

We did a Disney med cruise last August and although we have a son he is 15 and to be fair we barely see him! There was an adults only area which was brilliant on the magic and also palo a chargeable adults only restaurant. We loved it and having cruised NCL and Royal Caribbean in the past we rated Disney as the best and definitely not just for kids!

You actually see little of the kids on a Disney Cruise, as there are kids clubs to keep them busy, and adult only areas.

We have done it with and without kids and we saw very little of kids on both😀! There are adult only areas and shows on the longer cruises. Choose the later dinning time which has less little kids in it etc. If you go to Castaway Cay there is even an adults only beach which is beautiful.

I remember the first time we cruised there was just the 2 of us. We had a lie in one morning so went to one of the restaurants for brunch and sat with a group of adults and got talking. One of them asked us how many kids we had and I thought it was funny as they weren't with us as I had no idea about the kids clubs. All their kids were in the clubs and they didn't expect to see them for the rest of the day so had lots of stuff planned.
