POR or Beach Club
We have booked POR in a preferred room and upgraded to DDP next August for 10 nights. But now Beach Club rooms are available at an extra £1240...
We usually stay at SSR and love it there but wanted to try somewhere new. Please can I have people’s options for or against each resort as I’m going mad..lol We are 3 adults as DS is 18. Thank you |

we've stayed at both
Bc is in a great location esp for epcot/boardwalk in the evening and you have the option of walking to hs. Mini golf is walkable too Por is great for disney springs which are you likely to do more? Bc rooms are bigger and have far more storage space food options at Por are better but Bc does have lots of walkable option Bc is much more compact resort I guess if money isn't an issue and your happy to spend the extra Bc is a stunning resort but personally I'd be just as happy to stay at POr and spend the savings on other things Edited at 12:20 PM. |

It’s weighing up exactly what you have just said, we can stretch to the extra money. But it is weather it’s worth it...
we like the idea of the food at POR, and I know we can walk into Epcot for all the options there. I love the small pools at SSR as like to chill by them in the afternoon and enjoy a glass of wine on the balcony. So I would get the balcony at BC and not at POR, but the small pools at POR... ARGHHHHH what a lovely dilemma to have. |

We spent a lot of time in a "small pool" at Beach Club that was about a minute from our room on two of our previous stays there.
It's not just the Epcot food that is close at hand at Beach Club, it's the whole of the Boardwalk as well as Swan & Dolphin options. |

As I understand it, you aren’t guaranteed a full balcony at BC as it depends which floor you end up on, you may just get a Juliet style one. That’s part of the reason we’ve book YC as all the rooms have a full balcony.

We’ve stayed at both, and would choose BC every time. POR is lovely, but having Epcot, HS and Boardwalk within walking distance is wonderful.
