So sorry to read this,but I do have a positive story for you. My boyfriend at the time, was diagnosed with this when he was 21. Taken straight into hospital and started chemo the next day, we'd been told he had less than 24 hours left at that point.
He had four rounds of ATRA chemo over five months and made a full recovery.
He's now 34, we've been married a decade, and have a three year old son. People can and do make complete, full recoveries, and you'd never know, as an outsider, that it had ever happened to him.
