If the total price of your booking goes down they charge £50. If the price goes up, even if it goes up by less than £50 the fee is waived.

I changed mine the other day, as the price went up they don’t charge, but if it goes down it stays the same it’s £50

I amended a booking last week and the price went up; they still tried to charge me the £50 fee - I had to escalate to a manager to get it waived

If you change to a different deal they will also charge the £50 admin fee as its classified as a cancellation and rebook. We recently changed from AKL to BC for only a little more, but as the offer was different then we had to pay £50 admin fee. Was worth it though.

I didn't realise about all this charging malarkey, and was quite shocked to be charged £50 recently when I had to cancel an ex-friend's booking. I had originally booked for her to come with us to Florida next year, but after some quite shocking behaviour on her part towards my husband, (let's just say some inappropriate messages had been sent to him from her), I have had to cancel her part of the holiday. I am most narked to find that I will now lose the £50 deposit I had paid on her behalf, for cancelling. Am now trying to get that back from her ……….
