Avis Full SUV, what cars?

We have a group S Full size SUV booked with Avis for this August, pick up from Tampa Airport. My question does anyone know what car types are most common? our booking says Chevvy Traverse which looks ok but other options are Ford Flex and Toyota Sequoia which I don't like. Is it possible to say at pick up we want a different car, not used Avis before only Alamo where we could choose.
Any info appreciated

An avis full size suv is a group Z. Ie a chevy Tahoe or similar.

A group s is known as a standard elite in USA avis terms and a standard midsize in UK avis language.

This is where it also turns into a bit of a miss match between avis UK app and avis USA app.

UK states a group s as a 5 seater where as USA states 7 and provides different example cars too.

The examples in general are...
Class S: Standard Elite SUV

Avis Example: Ford Explorer
Chevy Traverse
Toyota Highlander
GMC Acadia

Car is same size as a standard (ish) just a bit higher spec in some cases

A Ford Edge in is group w, the Ford Explorer is in group s, we had group s booked for our trip in May, am in Avis preferred, so went straight to garage and my name was on the board, we were allocated a GMC Arcadia , I had a look about the other rows but there wasn�t much choice with group s, Mainly just toyota highlanders,Toyota sequonia, I asked and they said they had a couple of explorers but most group s was toyota highlanders and gmc Arcadia�s

We had a group S in February and we had a Ford Explorer Limited. Great car with all the bells and whistles. You could also get a VW Atlas or a Chevy Traverse. Register for preferred and download the US version of their app and you should be able to see what swaps in the same class are available when you arrive.

Thanks for the info. How do I download the US version of app. Only see the one I�ve got, bit confused

android or apple ?

Apparently you can switch cars with the UK version of the app, though i have never done that so suggest using the USA version.

oh.. cant help with that then, if andriod could share the way to manually download the APK - not sure if once you are in the states it may allow you to download it if location services are active. (something you would need to look into.,)

I set up dummy Apple ID with a US address on a different email address and set the country to US. You can�t just change the country. It won�t make any difference based on your actual location. If you google it there�s guides out there
