Maybe that woman shouldn’t leave the house if she’s so easily irritated by other people, she sounds so rude!

My brother has Tourette’s and has had his fair share of comments and stares over the years, so has my mum. He’s got ADHD, ODD, OCD and schizophrenia in addition so my mum and him got some horrible comments when he was growing up.

It used to wind me up when kids at school would watch those tv programmes about Tourette’s and then it find it funny to go around copying what they saw, I didn’t find a bit funny, not once...

Thank you for being so brave, as a mum to children with special needs I’m a huge believer that if people were more aware and knowledgeable about the difficulties some people with additional needs and disabilities face the world would be a kinder and happier place for all.
