Travel Republic and Hotel Reservation Number

Can I get some advice please.

I was going to book 9 nights at WDW Swan but during the Travel Republic online chat with customer service, I was told on asking, that it was not guaranteed that I would receive an official Marriott Reservation Number within 60 days of the trip.

This is because, according to the chat rep, they are not booking direct with the hotel.

As a reservation number will be needed to obtain 60 day Fastpasses, this is obviously a no go. Can anybody advise if they have managed to get the reservation numbers in time or had a problem in doing so.

we are booked at the Swan with BA & struggled to get a reservation number for MDE, we contacted the hotel direct & received a number which Disney helped us to link our hotel reservation to MDE
