We live close to our local hospital and thought we would be alone!

We weren't - the car alarms, applause , fireworks, whistles and pan banging were a moment that we should all behold.

Same again next week, and as we agreed from our front doors, it could become a weekly roll call too

For everyone in the NHS, in schools, delivery drivers and in the local shops who remain open we all should take a moment and recognise what you are all doing for all of the country.

What you are faced with, is appreciated by those who are not in your face and giving it this, that and the other - but by those who recognise that you are more at risk than is necessary and for those in a hospital making professional judgements that really do cross a line towards huge personal risk in order to 'just do your job'

Thank you xx

Applause is not enough.

We certainly did. Out of our small row of 6 houses on main road, 5 houses were out.

From this frontline nurse, currently on a night shift, I didn't get to see any of the celebration but reading about it all is making me pretty emotional. Thank you to everyone for your kindness and support we really appreciate it. Diolch yn fawr. Xxxxxx

Thank you. Not sure what it is but I feel cold right through and can’t get warm. I’ve had a sore throat and my nose is a bit stuffy. I don’t think it’s the dreaded, maybe just a cold.
