Having stayed at both last week definitely CBR, it was beautiful, relaxing, handy for everything, not a long walk to anywhere, AOA was blue, in your face but nice for smaller children, the rooms were a lot smaller but refurbished

Thank you. I have a 5 yr old which is the reason I went for AoA but the more I hear about it the more I’m dreading it!

I stayed at AOA in September with my 4 and 6 year old and we loved it. We are booked for CBR for August but only because the AOA pool is closed which is a deal breaker for us. Otherwise we would definitely be going back to AOA as it's pefect for kids that age.

We stayed at AOA last September in a little mermaid room which was the furthest from the reception and food court.
No coffee maker in the room so it was a long walk to get one in the morning and it felt even longer when walking from the bus at night after being in the parks for the day.
The pools looked nice but we didn’t use them they were too busy for us.
It wouldn’t be my first choice but I would stay there again if it was my only option.

If they are the same price, I would always chose the higher category hotel as it will be a bit bigger and be better equipped.

I have only stayed at CBR of the two, it was ok, but it is spread out over a huge distance, five of six bus stops I think it is that big. Amenities at reception where virtually useless to us as it was an extremely long walk there and back, I prefer to be able to quickly pop down to my hotels reception. Still I think this could be the same at AoA.

Thank you all! The difference in price is £600 so I’m not sure what to do? I’ve not stayed on site before. The big pool will be shut when we are there, not a big problem for us though and i knew that when I booked.

It’s an extra £520 not £600 🙈

Approx £37 extra per night
