DS school is open 9-11am, but we’re on a mini-break visiting relatives down south + a day out at Paulton’s Park. I’m hoping they’ll post them out to us. I might email school tomorrow (not sure if I’ll get an answer) to see if results can be emailed.

I really wanted to book a weekend away but with enrolment at college its not happening, those of you who are away how are you managing enrolment in college/6th form?

That’s wby I made sure we are back by results day. My ds college have informed him in writing a few days ago that if he doesn’t attend by 6pm on results day he will lose his place

DS has already accepted places at 3 different 6th forms in town. One is the school he is at but has to get certain grades, the other 2 are needing lower grades but offer different Alevel options to current school. We just need to get the grades on the day and decide which offer. Current school needs set grades but at his interview they said just see what you get as are a bit flexible. He has homework for the other 2 schools to do but is reluctant to do it in case he stays at current school!

Funny how different schools do things differently.

DS needs to enrol at his new school on results day or the day after - unless we’d already made arrangements to be away. It’s not a problem as we’re here but I’m sure we could have done it a different way if we’d been on holiday.

DS has only applied to his school 6th form so they will confirm his place for him. Fingers crossed he gets the grades to do the a levels he wants, I think he needs an 8 in maths and possibly his other choices too. Good luck to everyone waiting for results

That’s a really high mark for them to need. What A levels is he wanting to do?
My daughter has still not decided which college yet or what A levels
It’s between 3 colleges, she has places in all three depending on grades obviously so she is going to decide on results day.

We are on holiday so ds will log on to his school portal, any great issues we will have to get on the phone otherwise I think he just turns up back at school in September to start the A Levels he has chosen 😬 we are starting to get a bit nervous now anyone else x
Ds has just said they need to get a 6 for the a level subjects they have chosen.
