Mobile WDW rumour-parks dropping to 5 days a week

I've seen this on a few sites in the last week

I cant see any other outcome if things don't pick up soon. Given there are already strong hints that certain attractions are being closed for cost reasons, and given the Water Parks-likely very expensive to run, show no sign of opening soon, it likely a case of cut operating days, or cut parks and hotels entirely.

The rumour started as a single comment on a US forum site and many of the US blogs are just copying the story from one another.

If they do that, imagine the uproar from people who have already paid for 7 or 14 days tickets and end up being short changed on days? Can't see the water parks reopening this year though.

Watching the Vlogs I am not surprised. The parks must be running at 10% capacity, maybe 20% at Magic Kingdom and there operating costs must be horrendous.

I can’t see the water parks opening before Spring either

I don't understand why the water parks can't open, Aquatica and VB are both open.

It's probably down to staffing numbers vs number of guests they would service.

Since the other day the Florida Governor relaxed the restrictions on people from other states visiting Florida in order to boost visitors and the state's economy I would think it unlikely that he would be telling Disney to close

According to the earnings call they are making money on the opening- not at a loss.
I can see them opening some parks on some days, others on other days to save cost.
