She is frail, 93 in Jan.

Having said that she is so fiercely determined to remain independent and is of a generation that would put our youth to shame.

She is back in her house and has a carer each day, to help her with ‘stuff’ and make sure she is ok. We have a downstairs commode so she does not have to climb stairs (refuses a stair lift - they are for old people!). The carer deals with the slops 😂

My beloved dad was the same, I asked him to move in with us & his reply "What do you want an old man living with you for, your mother when from this house & so will I"!
He told me he did not want to live past 90 & he died on his 91st birthday !
I miss him and his wisdom every day.
Long may your mum continue in her present frame of mind Bless her.
