Connections in Miami to Orlando all on American, anyone done it?

London to Miami
Miami to Orlando all flights on American Airlines.

How do you connect in Miami?

Are American Domestic flights in same terminal as arrival flight?

Thanks

Hi, I think I answered on your Philly/Miami thread. As mentioned there the connection is quite tight it's within the mct but immigration and customs (immigration particularly) can be the sticking points anywhere, and Miami in particular. Summer storms can also throw things off.

Anyway, last time I went through, landed at the international satellite concourse (e) and took people mover to domestic concourse (d). Can also take bus on level 1 but that is slower. If people mover is down bus it will have to be which will add timewise.

Think you can also land at J on international flights exceptionally sometimes.

If you buy a through ticket they have to get you to your connection eventually and there is normally a good number of flights going to from Miami to Orlando. Just need one with space on. Alternatively if you want to change from your Philly flight to a Mia connection and are worried about timings then just book a later Mia to MCO leg.

I think you mentioned you have a flexi flight booked with BA, not sure if this is part of a flydrive or package or not? If so there is a useful thread on here about additional change charges from car hire or hotel changes that is worth a read.
